Oli Bonzanigo (1989 Milano) lives and works between Milan, Lisboa, Marrakesh
and Palermo.
Graduated in Fine Arts (Sculpture) in 2011 at Byam Shaw School of Art in
London. Since 2012, after a period of foundry apprenticeship, she works in
Battaglia bronze fine art foundry in Milan, managing artists’ productions and
project translations into bronze, as well as creating links between the history and
applications of lost wax casting techniques and cultural institutions.
As an artist she is part of activist and research-based collectives in Italy and
North Africa, she took part in several editorial projects and exhibitions in Africa
and Europe as the Marrakesh Biennale #5 and #6, in 2014 and 2016. She
created special site specific projects for the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair
(2017-2019), Video Sound Art Festival 7/8/9 and Manifesta 12 in Palermo.
